Trading journal · Free · Made in Sweden

A trading journal you'll actually keep.

Log a trade in about 20 seconds, with the chart. See your days on a calendar and your numbers by setup, grade and time of day. That's it. No AI, no broker sync, no 30-dollar subscription.

LogBook is invite-only during the beta. Send us an email and we'll get back to you.

  • Free forever
  • No card needed
  • Data in the EU
  • Export any time

The problem

Most trading journals get abandoned in two weeks.

Not because traders are lazy. Because the journal asks for too much and gives back too little.

  • It takes too long to log.

LogBook needs instrument, entry, exit, fees and a grade. Paste the chart with Ctrl V. Twenty seconds, then back to the screen.

  • There is too much in the way.

No AI coach, no social feed, no fifteen dashboards. The journal, a calendar, analytics and a short routine. Nothing you have to learn first.

  • It costs 30 dollars a month.

The journal is free and stays free. If you want to help cover what it costs to run, Supporter is 39 kr a month. It unlocks nothing except more images and our thanks.

How it works

Three steps, every trading day.

  1. Get in

LogBook is invite-only during the beta. Ask for an invite, then set a password from the email.

  2. Log the trade

After the trade, fill in instrument, entry, exit and fees, and give it a grade. Paste a chart screenshot if you have one. Nothing is pulled from your broker.

  3. Look back

See your days on the calendar and your numbers by setup, grade and time of day. Write a short review and check your trades against your plan, not against your mood.

What you get

The parts of a journal you'll open every day.

LogBook's trade form with a chart screenshot pasted in, showing instrument, result, date, side and grade. Sample data.

A trade form built for speed.

Instrument, side, entry, exit, fees, grade. Paste the chart straight into the form. Tags for setup and mistakes. Markdown notes if you want them, one line if you don't.

Also: playbooks with rules, personal limits that warn you when you break them, goals, a monthly report, keyboard shortcuts for everything, and a privacy mode that hides amounts when someone is looking over your shoulder. See all features →

Built for traders who place their own trades.

LogBook is for you if…

  • you trade stocks, funds, certificates or futures yourself, on any broker
  • you want numbers, not a chatbot
  • you'd rather pay nothing, or a fair price, than 30 dollars a month
  • you want to be able to leave with all your data, any time
  • you trade on Avanza and want your transactions read from a screenshot

It isn't, if…

  • you want trades synced automatically from your broker
  • you track funded-account challenges
  • you want an AI to tell you what to do
  • you trade crypto wallets and want them tracked here

We'd rather say this now than after you've logged a hundred trades.

Questions

Which brokers does it work with?

All of them. You enter each trade yourself, so LogBook doesn't need access to your broker. If you trade on Avanza, you can also scan a screenshot of your transactions.

Is it really free?

Yes. The journal, calendar, analytics, playbooks, routines, reviews and full export are free and stay free. Supporter is an optional 39 kr a month that helps cover what LogBook costs to run and raises your image quota. It does not unlock features.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. Settings has a CSV export and a full JSON backup, at any time. If you delete your account, your data is removed from the live database right away and from backups within 30 days. Payment records that bookkeeping law requires are the one exception.

Where is my data stored?

In Supabase's data centre in Ireland (EU). Other users can never see your trades. The privacy policy lists every service we use.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. LogBook is a web app you can add to your home screen on iPhone and Android. Logging a trade with a screenshot works on the phone too.

Will this make me a better trader?

Only if you use it. LogBook shows you what you did and how it went. Learning from it is up to you.
